Heaven gained a new Angel this morning who goes by the name of Daisy… She grew wings this morning in her sleep while cozy in HER bed here at home with us. As I said before forever was never promised but SHHEEZZZZZ 4 1/2 months sure just was NOT long enough…my heart is breaking and the tears continue to fall late into the evening today as I am at a lose for really how to move forward without her… OK logically speaking yes I do but my heart aches to see her empty bed and to know she is not going to come shuffling down the hallway and into the kitchen when I start cooking dinner tonight…those are the memories we all will never forget!!!
I know she felt loved and she was happy, my little Garfield girl and her Lasagna fetish will never be forgotten!! I am sure as she Crossed the Rainbow Bridge Blue or one of our other loves were happily waiting there with a HUGE bowl full that she will scarf down!! 🙂
Bye bye Daisy my heart aches without you :'( but I know you are in a better place now with no struggles and you are happy!!I
I love you Daisy and I miss you sooo much!!!
I would like to send a HUGE Thank you to all who made Daisy’s rescue possible, those who honored their pledges for her to get out of the shelter, everyone who so graciously helped us to get her dental and infection taken care of, and those who donated to help with her medical bills while we tried to save her in the end!! We are still left with some pretty hefty bills that are due and if anyone would like to donate to help us pay these bills it would be greatly appreciated!! Our Paypal address is firstname.lastname@example.org or you can mail a check to Under the Angel’s Wings Rescue PO Box 293683 Phelan, Ca 92329.
Thank you to all of those who had helped us to show Daisy what real love was all about even if it was only for 4 1/2 months…… There is just never enough time with these awesome senior dogs!!
Daisy when she came home for the vet 11/16/2012
Leaving the vets office…look how happy she looked to be free!
Asleep in the car on the way home from the vet.
About a week prior to her passing away doing her typical “Garfield” thing… eating Lasagna that was truly her favorite of all time!
