Welcome to Under the Angel’s Wings Rescue, Inc. (UAWR), where we are committed to giving horses and dogs in need a fresh start and a loving future. Founded in 1998, we began as a private sanctuary and became a non-profit in 2006, working tirelessly to provide safe, compassionate care to animals that have experienced hardship. Our primary focus has always been equine rescue, but our mission has expanded over the years to include dogs, especially those at high risk in shelters.
At UAWR, every animal receives tailored, holistic care—mentally, physically, and emotionally—to prepare them for a brighter future. For those with special needs or lifelong health concerns, our sanctuary provides a place of peace and support for life.
