Under the Angel’s Wings Rescue, Inc. (UAWR) began in 1998 as a private rescue dedicated to providing sanctuary and new beginnings for animals in need. In 2006, UAWR became a non-profit organization, with a primary focus on equine rescue. Over the years, we have offered safe haven and adoption opportunities to countless horses, providing them with the care, compassion, and stability they need to thrive.
Alongside our commitment to equines, we have also welcomed many dogs into our rescue. Recently, our mission has expanded to address the growing crisis of shelter dogs facing euthanasia. Every day, healthy, loving, and adoptable dogs are at risk, and we are determined to give them a second chance at life. At UAWR, we believe in the inherent value of every animal and strive to offer them a safe, caring environment and, when possible, a forever home.
