Approx DOB: 2012

Nike was found abandoned with another puppy next to a dumpster and was in very poor condition. UAWR was contacted to take the puppies and we gladly jumped in to help.

2019

Nike was available for adoption for 7 years and had been to 100’s of adoption events and never had much interest from potential adopters. It is time for Him to hang up his leash at this point.

We have decided rather than continue the stress of taking him to events he will officially become a permanent sanctuary resident where he can live out the rest of his years simply enjoying life as part of our family.

Nike is now 12 years old and he has been with us for many years and he is getting along wonderfully and we are so lucky to have him here as a sanctuary resident. He is starting to move a little slower due to some arthritis and getting older but he is so sweet and such an amazing boy!
